Another excellent article that I have re-read recently is dated back to 2004 and covers growth of a company without damaging the core business.

As today’s time is somehow comparable to those times after the internet turn down of the years 2001 and thereafter, it is very instructive to read this again. Very interesting, too, is the 4-test-strategy for new businesses, depicted in this article.

A key principle is – of course – that growth should add to existing business and not detract from it.
